The Stratosphere's unique location at the North end of the strip makes it the strip hotel closest to downtown Las Vegas and the Fremont Street Experience. The other unique thing about the Stratosphere is its 1,149 foot Stratosphere Tower, the tallest building West of the Mississippi, and the highest freestanding observation tower in the U.S. The view it offers is truly amazing. It is at the northern border of the strip so if your itinerary includes going down to San Remo and more, be sure to keep Las Vegas rental cars in mind.
Apart from this, the Stratosphere has a huge (over 100,000 square feet) casino, two showrooms, six restaurants and 2,444 spacious rooms and suites.
