The Crossing is a reality because one person dared to dream the dreams of God. In 1985, a young pastor in America's Sin City, began painting a picture on the hearts of his congregation at Central Christian Church to look beyond their borders and they began to dream.
In 1993, a group of them formed a foundation for a church in the northwest valley called Canyon Ridge. Even in the midst of that adventure, God was planting a seed in the southwest valley that would produce The Crossing.
At the beginning of a new millennium, the leadership teams at Central and Canyon Ridge began planning the birth of another church somewhere in the southwest corner of the Las Vegas valley. . .and the dream began to evolve.
On September 24, 2000, The Crossing was born. Almost a thousand people came through the doors that day to be a part of God's great adventure. Another piece of the divine dream rising up out of the Mojave desert: The Crossing.
