When members play the course, they sense it was designed and shaped to please their eye and challenge their skills. Lagoons, waterfalls and sand break up the 160 acres of Hybrid Bermuda fairways and gently undulating Bent Grass greens. Designed by Ted Robinson, Canyon Gate's championship caliber 18 holes play to a length of 6,742 yards, rewarding accuracy and skill over strength. To add "character" to the course, millions of cubic feet of earth were moved and shaped to create an emerald green, gently rolling terrain that will test the mettle of the Canyon Gate Member for years to come.
Canyon Gate Country Club offers a private, championship caliber 18-hole course that plays to a length of 6,769 yards. Situated in a prestigious gated golf community, both the course and clubhouse amenities are as refined as one would expect. The par-72 course was designed by Ted Robinson and incorporates water hazards on no less than thirteen occasions, rewarding accuracy over skill and strength. The 160 acres of lush fairways are broken up by tranquil lagoons, beautiful waterfalls, strategic sand bunkers and mature landscaping. Dominant Plus Bent grass greens were installed in 2006 and provide the most true putting surface available today. When members play the course, they sense it was designed and shaped to please their eye and challenge their skills.
The clubhouse at Canyon Gate Country Club is both relaxing and luxurious, featuring amenities like separate dining and grill rooms and well-appointed locker rooms. Both dining areas afford guests spectacular views of southern Nevada’s Red Rock Canyon.
At Canyon Gate they are continually re-investing in their Club to make it a “home away from home” for every Member. Come and play on new greens, enjoy a cold drink on our casual outdoor patio, and for the workout enthusiast, in 2009 will be breaking ground on a state of the art fitness center!
